A lie in to catch up with dreams, and then a trip to the stereo shop for stereo dreams. They have two of my stereo amps, one has a faulty connection in the back so every time you play a record it randomly hums (unsweetly) until you get around the back and fiddle with it. The other is not broken, it’s the Bang & Olufsen, and we finally discovered that the problem is that the turntable has to have a ceramic cartridge not a magnetic cartridge - the amp is from 1964 so I suppose that is something to do with it. It’s all Japanese to me (or Danish).
