Oh dear, the front steps of The Archive are a disgrace, dirty from the weather and me messing around with plants, so there’s soil and dust and water, it’s a mess, or was a mess. The first thing I did today was clean it all up, mopped the steps, took the dead leaves off the plants and prayed to the green-fingered Triffid in the sky to not let the plants die over the winter. Now I can go to see if the man in the flower shop has the hard to find sticks to support the floundering leaves of one of the plants, but then they could be coming in the same shipment as the light switch.
