I woke up after just 5 hours of sleep in a room raging with the noise of air conditioning in a city that was baking in the nineties, and it’s only May. I’m here to work on Space Summit songs with Jed, getting drums and bass down as well as cellos and piano, trumpet and violin. The routine of getting up - breakfast closes at 9 AM, leave at 10 AM for a studio start of 10.30 AM. But first, see what breakfast is like. So, everything is disposable, paper cups and plates, plastic spoons and knives, cardboard cereal, and terrible watery coffee. Why do they bother? Why do the clientele expect something to be so terrible, confirm their fears and conclude that there is no point in complaining - it shouldn’t be advertised as breakfast included, it should be advertised as the downfall of civilization included every morning until no one tries anymore unless it's to come up with the best money saving scheme for the lowest quality result.
