First of all, thank you for the many positive comments, both philosophical and enthusiastic as well as the messages of concern. You’d have to be statue not to be bothered by the world these days, although I was thinking about ‘the cold war’ today and I remember a lot of fear and pessimism around in those days, but I don’t remember fractured friendships and philosophically destroyed families, the polarisation and the total inability to compromise, debate shared different view points then, not concrete walls and you might be able to reason with friends influenced by bad players. There must have been trucks full of lies that we all swallowed then, but we didn’t know, we were more trusting and couldn’t imagine such a thing, whereas now, it’s just believing your tribe in case you are being duped, the rest are trying to delude you even when the obvious is screaming at you. The convenient lie versus the reality that doesn’t suit, the blame directed at the wrong target despite the facts. You know why space aliens don’t come here, right?
